So I haven’t blogged in more than a year! Somehow I am still getting bits of traffic to this, which is interesting.
Here are two thoughts I’ve been pondering:
1) I’m very glad God doesn’t always answer our prayers they way we’d like or hope. We can hang onto something so hard and truly believe it is right, but God loves us so much he puts roadblocks in our way because he knows what’s best in spite of us.
2) God’s timing is truly perfect. I moved back to Texas and didn’t really think it was time to leave Shreveport, but man once I got here I realized it’s just what I needed. Things are really falling into place and it’s so wonderful to be around so many friends I’ve known for so long. And making new friends, too!
There are many people I miss in Shreveport and some of the restaurants, but life is good.
So keep your head up and no guarantees when I’ll post again, but here ya go.
